Joseph D. Berrios, Jr.

Joseph D. Barrios, Jr., age 65, of East Chicago, Indiana, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025.  Joseph is survived by his parents:  Joseph D. Barrios, Sr., and Iris (Solero) Berrios; six siblings:  Milta Barrios, John Barrios, Marilyn Vasquez, Nelson Barrios, Joel Barrios and Noel Barrios; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 11:00 am at FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, Indiana.  Visitation will be on Tuesday from 9:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home woth Pastor Johnny Bonilla officiating  Burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery,  Hammond, Indiana.

Jospeph worked as truck driver for over 24 years; he also was a firefighter for 14 years and served in the Indiana National Guard for 17 years.  He was also a licensed electrician and mechanic.  He study at Purdue University Northwest and was a very active person.  Joseph liked animals especially his dogs.  He was devoted to his mother and will be missed by his family and friends.
