Kathryn Davidson

Kathryn E. Davidson, age 45 of Hammond, IN passed away Monday, April 20, 2026 at home.  Born on April 2, in Santa Ana, California, Kathryn was a light to everyone who knew her, remembered most for her unwavering kindness and her radiant smile.

Kathryn found great purpose in creating.  She spent much of her time hand-crafting mustard seed necklaces to give to friends and strangers alike - small tokens of love that she shared freely.  Her family finds comfort in the scripture that these gifts bring to mind: "If you have faith as small as a mustard seed... nothing will be impossible for you." This sentiment captured Kathryn's spirit perfectly, despite the physical challenges she faced following an accident, she remained a source of constant positivity.  She had a rare gift for seeing the good in others and never missed an opportunity to tell people they were loved.

Kathryn is survived by 2 sons, Isaiah E. Davidson and Elijah A. Davidson; siblings: Laura (Jeff) Parrott, Terese Cobo, Michelle (Terry) Morgan, Enrique E. (Claire) Lozano, Elida I. Lozano, Rick (Julianne) Jeffries, and Neil (Maria Eva) Calderone; many nieces and nephews; stepfather, Enrique Lozano; and her companion and caregiver, James Turner.

A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, May 15, 2026 at 11:00 am at St. Patrick Church, 3802 Grand Blvd., East Chicago, IN.
