Leo Montoya

Leo Montoya, age 59 of Highland, IN passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023 at home. He is survived by his wife, Petra Villazana-Montoya; 2 chilldren: Gilbert R. (Varae) Montoya, and Caroline Thompson; grandchldren: Gwen "Pancha", Gilbert, Jr.,Gabriel and Galeno, Andy and Jennifer Rascia, Vanessa Sulieman-Hernandez and Jacqueline O. Hernandez & grandchildren.  Preceded in death by his parents, Leo Montoya and Caroina Lopez De La Pena.

Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 20, 2023. Deacon Michael W. Halas will hold a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm Friday. Private cremaiton to follow.
