Maria Aurora (Ramos) Enriquez

Maria Aurora (Ramos) Enriquez, age 84 of Portage, IN formerly of Los Angeles, CA and Hammond, IN passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024 at home surrounded by family and friends.  Mother of 9 children: Yvonne (Joe) Alvarez, Pearl (Paul) Chandler, Genny (late Mickey) Lowy, Santiago Ortiz, late Roberta (late Ronald) Christian, late Miguel Ortiz, late Anna (Henry) Duran, Mary Lou Enriquez (late Isaac), and Roberto Ortiz; 27 grandchildren,  many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sister, Dominga (late Pete) Camarillo; nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by her parents, Santiago and Victoria (Pineda) Ramos.

Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 8, 2024. Private cremation to follow.
