Maria Marta (Carrasco) Gonzales

Maria Marta Gonzales (nee Carrasco), age 74, of Hammond, IN, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022. Maria is survived by children:  Angela McCormick, Claudette Shelton, Elizabeth (Sergio) Garcia, Ricardo (Brian) Gonzales, BetteAnn Wurst, and Christina Falardeau; grandchildren:  Christopher, David, Billy, Rhiannon, Jesse, Olivia, Celestino, Julian, Jessica, Bryan, Tyson, and Frankie; great grandchildren:  Christopher and Alesia; brother, Ralph (late Barbara) Carrasco; sister, Elizabeth Stewart; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  Preceded in death by her husband, Jesse J. Gonzales.

Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, January 28, 2022. Private cremation to follow. Rev. Charles W. Niblick will hold services 6:15 pm Friday.
