Maria D. Lozano

Maria Lozano, age 97 of Mabelvale, Arkansas formerly of East Chicago, IN passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024 at home. Maria is survived by her children: Roque Kina and Carmelo Hernandez, Tony Davila, Alfredo Davila, and Jose (Pepe) and Nimfa Lozano; sibling: Gregorio and Lucy Uvalle; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many other family members that loved her very much.  Preceded in death by her husband, Jose Lozano Pena; parents:  Gregorio Uvalle, Sr. and Catalina De La Rosa; children: Jesse Davila, and Librado Davila; siblings:  Cesaria Ramos, Joaquin Ramos, Juan Uvalle, Marie De Jesus, Gilberto Rosario, and Dimas Lopez.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 10:00 am at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN with Msgr. John Siekierski officiating.  Burial to follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Gary, IN.  Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, January 29, 2024 and from 9:00 am to 10:00 am on Tuesday morning.
