Maria Clemencia Mireles

Maria Clemencia Mireles, age 66, of East Chicago, IN, passed away Friday, November 15, 2024 surrounded by her family.  Maria is survived by her husband of 48 years Francisco D. Mireles,Sr.; four children: Juan (Juana) Mireles, Francisco J. (Melissa) Mireles, Jr., Griselda (Allan) Figueroa, and Cristobal (Sarah) Mireles; six grandchildren:  Lizbeth, Jaida, Claudia, Julian, Jose Manuel, and Yaritza; numerous siblings, nieces, nephews and cousins.  Preceded in death by parents: Salvador and Ramona Loza; daughter, Maria Elizabeth Mireles; and grandson, Victor Ponce Mireles.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrate on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 10:00 am, St. Margaret Mary Church, 1445 Hoffman St., Hammond, IN, with Rev. Luis Ferneidy Iral Cardona, officiating.  Burial to follow, St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN.  Visitation will be on Friday, November 22, 2024 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm at FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN, with a prayer service at 5:00 pm.
