Maria (Matas) Rivera

Maria Rivera, age 85 of East Chicago, IN passed away Monday, February 17, 2025.  Mother of 6 children: Richard (Anita) Rivera, George (Tina) Rivera, late Hector (Martha) Rivera, late Gladys Perez, Millie (Tony) Flores, and Diana Rivera; 16 grandchildren and great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by her husband, Angel Luis Rivera (2014) and numerous brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 21, 2025 at 10:00 am at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN with Pastors Angel and Yajaira Ruiz officiating.  Burial to follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Gary, IN.  Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Thursday, February 20, 2025 and from 9:30 am to 10:00 am on Friday morning.
