Maria Elena Flores Ramos

Maria Elena Flores Ramos, age 71, of East Chicago, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2021.  Elena is survived by son, Michael Joel Ramos; three grandchildren:  Destiny “Nini”, Kassandra “Kasi”, and favorite grandson, Angel; brothers:  Jose Luis, Chuey, Ciro, David, Robert, Francisco, Julian, Leonardo III, Jose, and Teodore; sisters:  Maria Elena, Veronica, Sanjuana, Marina and Adela; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by parents:  Maximo Hernandez and Amalia Nambo; siblings:  Raul, Lizzeta, Alberto, Leonardo II, and Concepcion.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 from 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm at FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, Indiana.

Elena was a wonderful, beautiful, loving, caring daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.  She loved her family and friends with all her heart.  She was truly a living Angel that walked among us; touching every single person’s life.  Elena will be forever remembered in all of the hearts she touched.
