Michael "Mikey" Keith Ryan

Michael "Mikey" Keith Ryan, age 53, of East Chicago, Indiana, passed away Friday, February 13, 2026.  Michael is survived by his wife of 33 years, Caribel (Garcia) Ryan; 3 children: Ernesto Salazar, Jordan (Ashley) Ryan and Edward Ryan; grandson, Liam Ryan; mother, Nancy (Vince) Menzyk; brother, Shawn Ryan; sister, Jaime (Dave) Gryzb; niece, Rachel (Brad) Mattes; and nephew, Steven Ryan.  Preceded in death by his father, Michael T. Ryan; and grandmother, Dolores Rybicki.

No services scheduled at this time.  Private cremation.

Michael was a graduate of St. Francis de Sales in South Chicago; and worked in the warehousing industry for many years.  He was a great sports fan; his favorite teams were the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bears, Chicago Blackhawk, and Notre Dame football. Michael was a great husband, father and grandfather who had a big heart and personality.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
