Michaelene (Lipkovitch) Rubi

Michaelene "Micki" Rubi (nee Lipkovich), age 57, of East Chicago, Indiana passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2026. Michaelene is survived by two children: Christopher and Joshua Rubi; Sister, Charlene (Dana) Glackin; Brother, Brian Lipkovitch. Two aunts, Laura Hemann and Denise Witczak. Uncle Michael Witczak. Nephew Wyatt Glackin and Niece Scarlett Glackin. Numerous cousins and extended family. Preceded in death by 3 children:  Amelia, Abraham and Bianca Rubi; Grandchild, Angel Rubi; Parents: Patricia and Richard Lipkovitch; Brother, Kenneth Lipkovitch; and Uncles: Ronald and Joseph Witczak. 

Micki was a 1986 graduate of Bishop Noll Institute. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and daughter. She was a very generous, kind and devoted person. Her favorite movie was the Wizard of Oz, enjoyed watching the Voice and Law and Order SVU, and her celebrity crush was Sylvestor Stallone. Micki loved to collect angels. She was really involved with her children and was an amazing mother. She was loved by many, made lasting impressions on people and always made friends wherever she went.
