Noe Fernandez, Sr.

Noe Fernandez, Sr., age 42, of Crown Point, Indiana, originally from East Chicago, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025.  Noe is survived by his wife of 22 years, Vanessa (Perez) Fernandez; four children:  Noe Fernandez, Jr., MiRey Gilberto Fernandez, Nayeli Anais Fernandez and Maya Rose Fernandez; mother, Teresa Fernandez; sisters:  Silvia Fernandez and Cecilia Fernandez; brothers:  Gerardo Fernandez, Gilberto Fernandez, Jr., and Valentin David Fernandez; numerous nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by his father, Gilberto Fernandez, Sr.; and grandparents:  David and Esther Rocha and Trancito and Catalina Fernandez.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 17, 2025 at 10:00 am at St. Patrick Church, 3802 Grand Boulevard, East Chicago, Indiana with Rev. Terry Steffens officiating.  Private Cremation to follow.  Visitation will be on Sunday, March 16, 2025 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, Indiana; and on Monday, March 17, 2025 from 9:00 am until the time of the Mass at 10:00 am at St. Patrick Church.

Noe worked for Tonn & Blank Construction Company and was a member of Local #41 Laborers' International Union of North America (LIUNA).  A loving father and husband; amazing son, brother, and friend.  He enjoyed family time with his friends who became family, mentored many, loved to spend time outdoors building, hunting, fishing and just enjoyed all of nature's beauty.  But above all, he loved spending time with his wife watching their children grow; always motivating them to work for what they want and family is to be valued.  He will be forever in our hearts.  To send an online condolence, logon to: www.fifefuneralhome.com.
