Ofelia Ybarra Ortiz, age 68 of St. John, IN passed away Monday, January 1, 2024. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Javier Fonseca Rodriguez; 8 children: Javier, Alma Rosa, Ofelia, Gregorio, Violeta, Hugo Alberto, Janette and Daniel; 19 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, January 5, 2024. Funeral and Burial will be held in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
