Orlando Sanchez, age 44 of Hammond, IN passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at home.  (Complete obituary to follow soon).

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 3510 Deodar Street, East Chicago, IN with Rev. Diego Florez officiating.  Burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN.  Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 and from 9:30 am to 10:00 am at the Church on Thursday morning.
