Osvaldo Luis Castro, Jr., age 36 of East Chicago, IN passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025 at home.  He is survived by his mother, Anselma Castro Acevedo; father, Osvaldo L. Castro, Sr.; 3 children: Camillo, Giovanni and Analiah; mother of his children, Michelle Aguilera; 3 step children: Julianna Toro, Aziza Aguilera and Moises Aguilera; 2 brothers, Santiago (late Diana) Castro and Angel Gomez; sister, Bianca Gomez; nephew, Elion Castro.

Funeral services will be held Ssaturday, August 23, 2025 at 11:00 am at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN with Deacon Javier Patiño officiating.  Burial to follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Gary, IN.  Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, August 22, 2025 and from 10:30 am to 11:00 am on Saturday morning.

Junior was a loving and dedicated son, father, brother and family man. His passing has left a void int the hearts of his family, friends and many more whose lives were touched by him.  His smile and energy brightened anyone around him.  His infectious laugh and jokes will be forever missed.  Junior was a hard worker and wanted nothing but the best for his children.  His goal in life was to provide the best he could for them.  Although he is no longer with us his memory will forever live on through his family and friends.
