Patricia “Patty” (nee Witczak) Lipkovitch, age 76, of East Chicago, Indiana, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025. Patricia is survived by three children: 2 daughters: Michaelene Rubi and Charlene (Dana) Glackin; son, Brian Lipkovitch; 4 grandchildren: Christopher and Joshua Rubi and Wyatt and Scarlett Glackin; great grandchild, Angel Rubi; 2 sisters: Laura (late Jim) Hemann and Denise Witczak; brother, Michael (Cindy) Witczak; godchild, Ronald Witczak, Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by husband, Richard Lipkovitch; 2 son: Christopher and Kenneth Lipkovitch; 3 grandchildren: Amelia, Abraham and Bianca Rubi; great grandchild, Angel Rubi; parents; Matthew and Amelia Witczak; and brothers: Ronald and Joseph Witczak.
Visitation will be on Wedndesday, October 15, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, Indiana. Private Cremation.
Patty was a 1967 graduate of Bishop Noll Institute; she was a consummate volunteer, always helping with bingo and school activities; she enjoyed gardening, passing out pop on Halloween, making pierogi, playing cards and dice, cooking and baking. She loved the Beatles and playing their music. Patty was a loving, wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister and aunt. She loved being outside and socializing with her neighbor friends.
