Pedro Sandoval, age 70, of Lansing, Illinois, passed away peacefully on March 18, surrounded by the love of his family.

Pedro was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose life was centered around family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Martha (Ramirez) Sandoval, with whom he shared many years of love and partnership. He leaves behind his three children: Leticia (Drew) Rubio, Gloria Sandoval, and Peter (Blanca) Sandoval.

Pedro was a proud and loving grandfather to Tiffany Gaeta, Toni (Ismael) Gaeta, Antonio (Erin) Gaeta, Jasmine Corona, Mariah Corona, Alex Corona, Joseph Corona, Peter, Jocelyn, Ciara, Carmelo, Aaliyah, Alexi, and Angelina, and a cherished great-grandfather. He found great joy in spending time with his grandchildren and watching his family grow.

He is also survived by his dear siblings: Mary Sandoval, Martha Garcia, Louise (Bill) Galvan, David (Alicia) Sandoval, Ray Sandoval, and Frances Sanchez, along with many nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.

Pedro dedicated many years of service at Hyde Hospital before his retirement. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, kind heart, and the love he gave so freely to those around him. He enjoyed time with family, sharing stories, and creating lasting memories with those he loved most.

Visitation at FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd, East Chicago, Indiana will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, March 22, 2026.  Private cremation to follow.  A Memorial Mass will be held Monday, March 23, 2026 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Church, 5310 Hohman Avenue, Hammond, IN with Rev.
