Ramona (Alcantar) Martinez

Ramona Martinez, age 92 of East Chicago (Harbor), IN passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023.  She is survived by 3 children: Rosemary (Julien) Quiroz, Juana Davila and Roberto Martinez;  18grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 3 brothers, 1 sister and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Evaristo Martinez (2004).

Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, March 10, 2023. Rev. Diego Florez will hold services 7:15 pm Friday.  Private cremation to follow.

Our Grandma Ramona was a warm-hearted person with a beautiful soul.  She loved her kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren so much, as well as they loved her.  She would do anything for her loved ones no matter what.  Wherever she went she was known as grandma, funny, caring, and loving.  "You're forever in our hearts, we love you grandma".
