Reymundo "Rey" Camarillo, Sr.

Reymundo “Rey” Camarillo, Sr., age 68 of East Chicago, IN passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021.  He is survived by 3 children: Reymundo (Heather Manzo) Camarillo, Jr., Michael Camarillo and Sandra (Revertus) Bratcher; 7 grandchildren: Sethe Camarillo, Miguel Camarillo, Marisol Camarillo, Marina Camarillo, Sophia Camarillo, Alyssa Bratcher and Carmen Bratcher; siblings: Ana (Richard) Esparza, Frank Camarillo, Juanita Black and Andrea Cerros; numerous nieces and nephews; close furry buddy, “Charcoal”.  Preceded in death by parents, Francisco and Maria Camarillo; brother, Jesse Camarillo; nephew, John Cerros.

Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, January 20, 2021.  Private cremation to follow.

Rey was a former employee at Inland Steel Company for many years, he  was a U.S. Army Veteran, and an avid Chicago White Sox fan.  Rey was the kind of guy who put everyone before himself.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
