Ricardo "Ricky" Rosario

Ricardo “Ricky” Rosario, age 40 of Hammond, Indiana, passed away Friday, November 18, 2022.  Ricky is survived by his mother, Daisy Rosario; father, Pablo Rosario; sister, Doris (Victor) Soto; step sisters:  Gloria Rosario, Zaida Palacios, Ivette (Kenneth) Rosario, and Ivonne Rosario; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 10:00 am at FIFE FUNERAL HOME.  Burial to follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Gary, Indiana.  Visitation will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, Indiana.

Ricky was an avid sports fan; he enjoyed WWE from a young age, then he developed a love for basketball, baseball, football, soccer, golf and all sports.  His favorite teams were the Chicago Bulls, White Sox, Cubs and Bears, anything Chicago!  Ricky loved his vacations, cruises and spending time with his family, especially his cousins and nieces.

Ricky was such a wonderful person, his life was a constant battle; having over 30 surgeries since birth.  Throughout his battles he always kept a smile or a jokes, he never complained about anything.  When doctors said he would never make it past 5 years old, Ricky’s goal was to make it to age 40 – which as of September he did – he made 40!!!  God granted his wish.  Ricky had many people who looked up to him.  He was sharp as a razor, he was everyone’s idol, a strong straight-up man.  He will truly be missed by so many of his family and friends.  Fly high Ricky, we will always treasure our time with you.
