Richard graduated from Washington High School in Indiana Harbor where he met his wife, Anna. He worked at Standard Forging as an axle inspector until the plant closed in 1989 and then worked until he retired for American Limousine. Richard loved his daughters Veronica and Vanessa immensely. Grandpa Richie adored and was proud of his 3 grandchildren and found joy in being their own personal tour guide on drives to Chicago. He loved taking long drives, especially to Laredo, Texas. If there was a place you needed to go in the city, Dad would get you there and share some Chicagoland facts along the way! Richard was “Uncle Richie” to 22 nieces and nephews, enjoyed movies and popcorn, and liked to dance and listen to The Beatles and his oldies music. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend who we love and will miss dearly. To send an online condolence, logon to: www.fifefuneralhome.com
