Robert retired from Inland Steel/Arcelor Mittal Company in 2009 after 42 years as a crane operator in the 80” mill. His favorite crane was #62 that he called the “Money Maker”!! He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. Robert was well known for his love of music, huge collection of 45’s, his adequate pool playing skills and his hearty laugh. Robert was also part of the Harbor doo wop. Our father always said “when it’s my time it’s my time”. Bobby and shorty’s love is one that fairy tales are made from. They showed their children a perfect example of how to love and respect someone you say you love. Robert will be missed, but remembered by most through a song!.
