Roberto Nunez

Roberto Nunez, age 74 of East Chicago, IN passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at home. Roberto, formerly of Texas, is survived by one uncle, Vincent Melendez of Indiana; one aunt, Maria Melendez Casares of Texas, and many cousins in Indiana, Texas and Mexico.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Justina Melendez; aunts:  San Juana Melendez, Vicenta Melendez; and uncle, Jesse Melendez.

Private cremation services were provided by FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN.

Roberto was an avid cyclist and loved working on bicycles after he retired from the steel mill industry.  He was a quiet and reserved man, and will be missed by family, friends and neighbors.
