Rodolfo Avila

Rodolfo Avila, age 69 of East Chicago, IN passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2020.  He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Bernabe Avila; 5 children: Maria (Margarito) Rodriguez, Jose “Fredy” (Roberta) Avila, Rodolfo “Rudy” Avila, Saul (Gina) Avila and Gustavo Adolfo Avila; 11 grandchildren: Antonio Salgado, Ruby Avila, Hector Manuel Avila, Maritza Annette Avila, Andrez Avila, Nicholas Avila, Gabriela Avila, Alaina Avila, Xavier Avila, Ella Avila and Drew Avila; 4 great grandchildren: Leland Salgado, Korra Salgado, Elijah Rodriguez and Kalani Aguilar; brothers and sisters in Mexico; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 14, 2020 at 10:00 am at Ministerio Torres Fuerte, 3801 Deodar Street, East Chicago, IN with Pastors Ezequiel and Suri Becerra officiating.  Burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN.  Visitation at FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, September 13, 2020 and from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the Church on Monday morning.
