Rogelio Rodriguez

Rogelio Rodriguez, age 78, passed away Monday, September 29, 2025 in East Chicago, Indiana. He is survived by his mother, Rita Gonzalez; brothers Frank Rodriguez and Gilbert Rodriguez; first wife Maria Rodriguez who he shared a daughter with Veronica Bella Rodriguez; current wife Veronica Rodriguez and two daughters Rachael and Regina; goddaughter/niece Janneth Esquivel. As well as other extended family he cared for deeply. Preceded in death by his father Frank Rodriguez and sister Maria Estella Rodriguez.

Rogelio was born in Silao, Guanajuato, Mexico and grew up in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. With humble beginnings, he started working at the age of 10 to help his mom. He was one of the hardest workers you would ever meet, he followed a career in HVAC and retired from Inland Steel Company (later known as ArcelorMittal). He loved a wide range of music, from disco to salsa and almost everything in between. He loved to travel and was very glad to be able to take his mom on two tours to the Holy Land. Rogelio will continue to be remembered for always being kind.
