Ronald George Arend, Jr., age 54 of East Chicago, IN passed away Friday, October 1, 2021. He is survived by his wife, Anita Marie Arend (nee Crane); son Ronald George Arene III of California; father, Ronald George (Katherine) Arend, Sr.; mother, Suzanne (late Lionel) Rockey; brother, Todd Arend; sister, Lisa Arend; half brother, Kevin Arend; half sister, Jennifer Arend; nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, October 8, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN.

Ron was a welder for Simko Industrial Fabricators, Hammond, IN and Refractory Services, Hammond, IN and Balemaster, Crown Point, IN and Worthington Steel Company, Porter, IN.
