Roxanne "lola" L. Benefield

Roxanne L. Benefied “Lola”, of Hammond, IN, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021.  Lola is survived by 2 sons:  Dino Baldazo and David Baldazo; grandchildren:  Jaime House, Anthony Baldazo, Clarissa Cronin, Tyler Baldazo, Brock Baldazo, Desirae Baldazo and Charlie Baldazo; mother, Rose Flores; brothers:  Ray Flores, Romeo “Jr.” Flores and Moses Flores; sisters:  Angie Mayghew, Rose Minjares, and Cindy Herrera.  Preceded in death by father, Joseph Romero; son, Desi Baldazo; siblings:  Arthur Ramirez and Becky Oritz.

In honoring Roxanne’s wishes, funeral and burial services will be private.

Roxanne was the first licensed Female Barber in the State of Indiana and the owner of Scorpio I Tonsorial Parlor in Hessville, Indiana.  She enjoyed her yard work and will be missed by her family and neighbors.
