Ruben Melendez

Ruben Melendez, age 63 of Ft. Worth, Texas, passed away Monday, June 20, 2022.  He is survived by his wife, Josie Melendez; 2 step sons, Michael (Samantha) Olvera and Joe (Alicia) Faz; step grandchildren: Alanna, Leo, Mia and Noah; father, Vincent Melendez; siblings: Teri Melendez, Jerry Melendez, MaryLou Keddy and Laura (Mario) Samaniego; nieces and nephews: Sara (Conrad) Leon, Sarah and James Keddy, Mike and Liz Melendez, Angelica Quijas, Alyssa Arreguin, Mario and Faith Samaniego; 2 grand nephews, Josiah and Giovanni Leon; and many cousins who loved him.  Preceded in death by his mother, Alice Quijas; brother, Ronnie Melendez;

Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Friday, July 8, 2022. Private cremation to follow.

Ruben was a Telecommunications Engineer for more than 35 years and took pride and loved his work.
