Ruben Pena, Jr.

Ruben Pena, Jr., age 67 of East Chicago, IN made his heavenly transition.  He was born on June 22, 1956 to parents, Maria Pena and Ruben Pena Sr.  He is preceded in death by his father, Ruben Pena Sr.; mother, Maria Pena Rodriguez; step father, Fernando Rodriguez; sister, Mitzi San Miguel; brother, Reynaldo Pena.

He leaves to cherish his memories, 3 sisters: Estela (Robert) Dizon of Garland, TX, Clarissa (Lupe) Reyna of Bellville, TX and Marilyn (Josiah) Jones of Portage, IN; brother, Eddie Pena of East Chicago, IN; 2 step-sisters, Naomi (Patrick) Rodriguez and Rosa (Raul) Rodriguez of San Jacinto, CA; sons, Jason, Ray and Ruben as well as nieces, nephews and a host of many relatives and friends.

Ruben was a lifelong resident of East Chicago, IN (New Addition). He attended East Chicago Public Schools including East Chicago Roosevelt High School.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at 11:00 am at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN with Pastor T. Brian Hill officiating.  Burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Hammond, IN.  Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Funeral Home Wednesday morning.
