Sergio "Edgar" Sanchez

Sergio Edgar Sanchez, age 48, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025.  Edgar is survived by his father, Jose Sanchez; 5 children:  Juliaan, Jocelyn, Jizele, Jazline, and Jalani Sanchez; 8 siblings:  Jeffrey, Luis, Juan, Tito, America, Hugo, Lilia, and Judith. Preceded in death by his mother, Socorro (Fonseca) Sanchez.

Visitation will be on Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 1:00 to 5:00 pm at FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, Indiana.  Private cremation to follow.

Edgar worked in the construction industry; he was always kind-hearted, caring, and a hard worker.  He loved basketball and baseball and was an avid Cubs and Bulls fan.  Edgar loved his kids and enjoyed joking around and having a good time.  He will be missed by his family and friends.  To send an online condolence, logon to: www.fifefuneralhome.com
