Sheila A. (Irk) Reczek

Sheila A. Reczek (nee Irk), age 83 of East Chicago, IN passed away Sunday, May 11, 2025 at home.  She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Walter V. Reczek; daughter, Patti (Tom) Schweisthal; 2 grandchildren: Vinnie (Erin) Cole and Courtney Cole; 6 great grandchildren: Tatum, Vinnie, Dino, Ryker, Maverick and Dominic; brother, John Irk; brother in-law, Richard(late Joan) Reczek; nephew, Michael (Brenda) Irk; 2 cousins, Maggie and Midge; numerous nieces and nephews; pet dog, “Peanut”.  Preceded in death by her parents, Frank Irk and Margaret (nee Felo) Zarnik; sister, Darlene; brother, Michael; 3 nieces, Regina, Debbie and Renee.

Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.  Rev. Terry Steffens will hold services at 6:00 pm on Tuesday.  Private cremation to follow.
