Teresa (Orta) Rodriguez, age 86 of East Chicago, IN passed away Sunday, August 14, 2022.  She is survived by 2 sons, Hector J. Rodriguez and Melvin and wife, Soelys Rodriguez; 5 grandchildren: Angelo, Javier, Abram, Anthony and Amaris; nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by her husband, Jose “Cheo” Rodriguez; parents, Ramon and Andrea Orta.

Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, August 17, 2022. Pastor Domingo Salome will hold services at 6:00 pm on Wednesday. Private cremation to follow.
