Thomas A. Homco, age 59 of East Chicago, IN passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 33 years, Rosa Maria “Rosy” Homco; beloved son, Jacob Tomas Homco; siblings: Mike (late Monica) Homco, Mary (late Bruce) Davey, Jim Homco, Joe Homco, Cathy (Charlie) McKnight, Teesa Homco, late Jeannie Homco, Pete (Leanne) Homco, Steve (Carol) Homco and Annie (Shawn) Pearson; in-laws: Lupe (late Melecio) Magallon, late Maria “Chela” Fernandez, Felipe Sanchez, late Paco (Pamela) Sanchez, Mario (late Ana Maria) Sanchez, Jimmy Sanchez, Rick (Cindy) Sanchez and Eddie (Linda) Sanchez; nieces and nephews: Mark Homco, Melissa Bybee, Candace Sellers, Jennifer Malecha, Chris Homco, Charlie, Joshua and Christine McKnight, Johnny and Elizabeth Homco, Brittany Thompson, Amanda, Zachary, Chloe and Joshua Homco, Savonne, Sebastien and Camille Pearson, Mele and Marco Magallon, Lupita Calderon, Francisco Martinez, Francisco and Michael Sanchez, Mario Sanchez, Jr., Danny, Dustin and Mandy Gonzalez, Sara and Katie Sanchez, Eddie, Mica, Gabriel and Lucas Sanchez; numerous great nieces and great nephews; devoted dog, Kylie. Preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Camille Homco.
Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 2:00 to 6:00 pm on Sunday, July 5, 2020. Rev. Gregory Bim-Merle will hold services 5:30 pm Sunday. **DUE TO COVID-19 AND FAMILY REQUEST, MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED AND NO MORE THAN 100 PEOPLE ALLOWED IN THE FUNERAL HOME AT ONE TIME.** Private cremation to follow.
Tom was a U.S. Marine Corp Veteran. He was very involved with the Indiana Harbor Little League where he met his wife Rosy. He was a very hard worker who loved gardening and woodworking.
