Virgilio Moreno

Virgilio Moreno, age 72, of Hammond, Indiana passed away Monday, February 15, 2021 in Mexico.  Virgilio is survived by three children:  Maribel (James), Claudia Moreno and Luis (Judith) Moreno; grandchildren:  Jordat Moreno, Briana and Alicia, Roberto, Israel, Lizette, Gabriel and Alondra; great-grandchildren:  Ximena, Lilliana, Noah, Lucia, and Jaylaine; sister, Linda Moreno; and 2 brothers:  Elias (Rosario) Moreno and Delfino (Evangelina).  Preceded in death by his wife, Maria del Carmen Moreno in 2018.

Funeral Services will be on Monday, March 1, 2021 at 10:00 am at FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, Indiana with Pastor Luis Romero officiating. Burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, Indiana.  Visitation will be on Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at FIFE FUNERAL HOME.

Virgilio was a wonderful Dad, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, and Brother.  He always had much love and support for his family.  Virgilio was always a happy person and loved to laugh.  He will always be remembered by his family and friends.
