Dolores J. (Dee) Winterlin, age 87, of Munster, IN joined much of her family in heaven on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 for a happy reunion.  She was born in Chicago, IL on February 5, 1930 and was raised by her mother and grandmother.  Dolores is survived by her cousin, Mary Krick, and younger cousins to whom she was known as “Aunt Dee” are Bobbie (Mark) Williams, Michele (Steve) Filyo, Richard (Sabina) Jackson, Michael (Cami) Jackson, John (Renee) Krick, Kirstin Krick, and all of their children.  Preceded in death by her mother, Marge Winterlin; brother, Fr. John “Jack” Winterlin; aunt, Louise Slont; and cousin, Patricia Jackson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. James the Less Church, 9640 Kennedy Ave., Highland, IN with Rev. Keith M. Virus officiating.  Burial to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN.  Visitation will on Sunday, April 9, 2017 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN and on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Church.

Dee enjoyed a successful career with Chicago Milwaukee and St. Paul Pacific Railroad (The Milwaukee Railroad) for over 45 years, advancing consistently and the youngest ever to support the VP and General Counsel, and later as Administrative Assistant to the Chairman of the Board.  Upon retirement she continued to work supporting her brother Fr.
