Kata V. Mrzljak (nee Perez), age 92 of East Chicago, IN passed away Friday, October 14, 2016. She is survived by her son, Frank V. Morzlock of Chicago, IL;  sister, Ana Halic of Croatia;  many nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by her husband, Mirko Mrzljak in 1978 and sister, Josephine Halic of Croatia.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 10:00 am at Holy Trinity Croatian Church, 4754 Carey Street, East Chicago, IN with Rev. Roy Beeching officiating.  Burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN.  Friends may meet with the family from 9:00 am until time of Mass at the Church on Thursday morning.

Kata was a 50 year member of the Croatian Fraternal Union of America and a member of Holy Trinity Croatian Church.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Fr. Blaney’s Share Foundation, P.O.
