Mary Rios (nee Alonzo), age 86 of East Chicago, IN passed away Friday, May 20, 2016 at home.  She is survived by 3 children: Dennis (Peggy) Rios of Merrillville, IN, Patricia (Peter II) Murphy of Tampico, IL and Laura of East Chicago, IN; 5 grandchildren: Dan (Angel), Monica, Eric, Kevin and Jessica; 4 great grandchildren: Christian and Devin Padilla, Breanna and Eric Rios, Jr.;   Preceded in death by husband, Jose A. Rios, Sr.; sons, Robert and Joseph Rios; daughter, Susan; 8 sisters and 8 brothers.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 10:00 am at FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN with Msgr. John Skiekierski officiating.  Burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN.  Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 25, 2016.  Prayer services 4:00 pm on Wednesday.
