Sandra S. Padzik (nee Abascal), age 65 of East Chicago, IN passed away Monday, March 28, 2016.  She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Richard Padzik; siblings: Sharon (Barry) Fisher, Mel (Mary Beth) Abascal and Alan (late Cynthia) Abascal; sister-in-law, Sandra (Phil) Eberlex; best friend, Sally Bolla; beloved by numerous nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by parents, Manuel and Rose Abascal; brother, Bryan Abascal.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 9:30 am from FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN and 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick Church, 3810 Grand Blvd., East Chicago, IN with Rev. David Nowak, officiating.  Private cremation to follow.  Visitation at FIFE FUNERAL HOME will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, April 1, 2016.
