Barbara J. East (nee Nolan), age 82 of East Chicago, IN passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017.  She is survived by 2 children: Becky Martich and Richard (Sara) East; 4 grandchildren; Eric, Conor, Bella and Tony; nephew, Jim and Barbara Baugh and family.  Preceded in death by parents, Fred and Emma Nolan; husband, Richard in 2003.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 10:00 am at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN with Pastor David M. Atkinson officiating.  Burial to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN.  Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME will be from 3:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 5, 2017.
