DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, THE CDC, STATE AND LOCAL HEALTH AGENCIES ADVISE THAT THE FOLLOWING PRACTICES BE OBSERVED WHEN ATTENDING A VISITATION OR FUNERAL SERVICE:
1. All individuals who are 65 and above or who have an underlying at-risk health condition, please stay at home
2. Ensure 6 feet between individuals or family units of the same households during services and visitations
3. Utilize frequent hand washing with soap & water for at least 20 seconds
4. Utilize hand sanitizers upon entering and leaving the building
5 All persons must wear a face covering in and around public spaces and when not able to social distance
6. Do not enter this building if you have tested positive for COVID-19 or if you are symptomatic with fever, cough, sore throat, problems breathing, cold or flu-like symptoms, and the like
7. Avoid handing out materials
8. Avoid shaking hands and other physical contact
9. Please keep your visit to a minimum
We continue to closely monitoring the federal, state and local health authorities, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization’s statements regarding the COVID-19 virus and following guidance from these agencies. The health and safety of our guests are our top priority. We want you to know that:
•we use cleaning and disinfecting procedures to clean our facility after each service with particular attention paid to high touch items
•we have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting public areas
•proper hand washing is vital to help combat the spread of the virus – we have posted informational flyers in each of our restrooms to remind everyone of this simple but important act
•employees who exhibit flu-like symptoms have been instructed to stay home
•we request that anyone experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms including, fever, cough, shortness of breath or have been in contact with or have recently traveled to any of the affected countries refrain from visiting the funeral home at this time
