Maria R. (Rojas) Barajas

Maria R. Barajas, age 95 of East Chicago, IN, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2019 peacefully at home.  She is survived by children: Maria de Jesus Barajas, Maria de Flores, Consuelo Gonzalez, Manuel Barajas, Estella Ramirez and Enrique Barajas; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by her husband, Alfredo Barajas; son, Alfredo Barajas, Jr.; daughter, Leticia Arreola.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 9, 2019 at 10:00 am at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN with Rev. Terry Steffens officiating.  Burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN.  Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME will be from 2:00 to 6:00 pm on Sunday, September 8, 2019.
