Rosa (Lumbreras) Lucero

Rosa Lucero (nee Lumbreras), age 88 of Hammond, IN passed away Monday, December 2, 2019 at home.  Mother of 5 children: Rosalinda (Bill) Simpson, late Antonio (Esther) Balboa, late Michael (late Gloria) Balboa, Mary (late Eduardo) Perez and late Gloria (Anatolio) Lara; 19 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by parents, Francisco and Antonia Lumbreras; siblings: Francisco Lumbreras, Faustino Lumbreras and Bonifacia “Anita” (late Jose) Guardiola.

Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Saturday, December 7, 2019.  Private cremation to follow.  Rev. Terry Steffens will hold services 2:15 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
