Vanessa Hernandez

Vanessa Hernandez, age 30 of East Chicago, IN passed away Monday, July 30, 2018.  She is survived by mother, Rosalia Hernandez; father, Javier Hernandez, Sr.; 4 siblings: Veronica (Delorean) Bacon, Javier (Candice) Hernandez, Jr., Jorge (fiancé Deyanira Garcia) Hernandez and Alejandro Hernandez; paternal grandparents, Daniel and Maria del Refugio Hernandez; nieces and nephews: Arianna, D.J., Isabella and Noah; beloved pet dog, Cuppy.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Mary Church, 812 W. 144th Street, East Chicago, IN with Rev. Frank Torres officiating.  Visitation will be on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN.

Vanessa loved helping and caring for others in her jobs at Help at Home, Inc. and the Alzheimer’s Association.  She enjoyed life, dancing and hanging out with family and friends.  Vanessa touched so many people’s lives and she will be deeply missed and always remembered.
