Antonio A. Peña

Antonio A. Peña, age 87 of East Chicago, IN passed away from complications due to COVID-19 on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the Veteran’s Home, W. Lafayette, IN.  He is survived by 3 children: Mary Peña, Antonio G. (Diego) Peña and Ray (Gema) Peña; 2 grandchildren, Mireya and Joaquin Peña; sisters, Maria (late Damaso) Castellon and Rachel Herrera; nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by his wife, Rose (nee Ruelas) Peña (2019); son, Javier Peña (2013); parents, Domingo (Amelia) Peña Luna; brothers, Jose Pena and Raymond Luna.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 10:30 am at St. Mary Church, corner of Indianapolis Blvd. and 144th Street, East Chicago, IN with Rev. Terry Steffens officiating.  Burial to follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Gary, IN.  Visitation at FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Monday, January 18, 2021. **(A MAXIMUM of 25 People will be Allowed in the Funeral Home at one time and MASKS and SOCIAL DISTANCING will be Required)**.
