Antonio Zavala Zavala, age 75 of Porter, IN passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022.  He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Susana Escobedo Juarez; 7 children: Jose Antonio Zavala (Silvia Medina), late Isabela Zavala, Rosario Zavala, Rosa Maria Zavala Barragan (Javier Barragan), Fernando Zavala (Rosalinda Quillares), Marina Zavala and Maria Isabel Zavala (Juan Manuel Cintora); 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren;  brothers and sisters in Mexico; numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 3, 2022 at 11:30 am at St. Mary Church, corner of Indianapolis Blvd. and 144th Street, East Chicago, IN with Rev. Nestor Varon officiating.  Burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am Friday morning.
