Artemio Lozano Barroso

Artemio Lozano Barroso, age 66 of Hammond, IN passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021.  He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Irma Lozano; 4 children: Laura (Jose) Ramos, Mario (Diana) Lozano, Rudy (Guadalupe) Perez and Adriana Lozano; 20 grandchildren: Eddie, Sandy, Roxana, Joel and Teresa, Marvel, Adrea, Yvette, Emily, Merlen, Jesus and Liam, Jesus, Anthony and Priscilla, Dallana, Esmeralda, Jose, Isaac and Yealise; 8 great grandchildren; siblings: Ariel, Efrain, Rebeca, Teresa, Adrian, Armando, Froilan, late Jesus, late Roman, late Laurentino and late Hilario;  numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 10:30 am at St. Mary Church, corner of Indianapolis Blvd. and 144th Street, East Chicago, IN with Rev. Nestor Varon officiating.  Burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN.  Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 and from 10:00 am to 10:30 am at the Church on Thursday morning.
