Estela (Escamilla) Mendoza

Estela (nee Escamilla) Mendoza, age 90 of East Chicago, IN passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2019.  She is survived by 4 grandchildren: Christopher (Jessica) Roncone, Angela (Juan) Aranda, Abigail (Bryan) Jimenez and Joshua Moreno;  6 great grandchildren: Mercedes, Miraya, Brandon, Aaron, Nicholas and Christian; sister, Elma (late Manuel) Garcia; beloved dog, “Minnie”.  Preceded in death by her daughter, Melva Mendoza.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 20, 2019 at 10:30 am at St. Patrick’s Church 3802 Grand Blvd., East Chicago, IN with Rev. Jayababu Nuthulapati officiating.  Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL. Visitation will be from 8:30 am until time of Mass at the Church on Friday morning.
