Gloria B. (Balboa) Lara

Gloria B. Lara, age 65 of Hammond, IN passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019.  She is survived by her loving husband, Anatolio Lara; mother, Rosa Lucero; 5 children: Antonia (Edgar) Perez, Jose (Martha) Lara, Alejandro (Olivia) Lara, Andres Lara and Armando Lara; 6 grandchildren: Christine (Carlos) Ovalle, Miranda Lara, Anelissa Lara, Emelia Lara, Alelis Lara and Alejandro Lara: 1 great granddaughter, Chloe Orta; sisters, Rosalinda (Bill) Simpson and Mary (late Eduardo) Perez; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Preceded in death by her father, Antonio Balboa; brothers, Antonio and Michael Balboa; nephew, Michael “Mikey” Balboa; and niece, Rosemary Gutierrez.

Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN will be from 2:00 to 6:00 pm on Saturday, October 26, 2019.  Private interment. Fr. Terry Steffens will say prayers at 2:15 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
