Jose L. Zapata

Jose L. Zapata, age 65 of East Chicago, IN passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018.  He is survived by 3 children: Emiliano (Rosa) Zapata, Yvonne Zapata and Andrea Gaitan; grandchildren; siblings: late Jovita Zapata, Rosa Zapata, Dorothy Flores, Elias Zapata, Jr., Robert Zapata, John Zapata, Andres Zapata, Cesar Zapata, Elva (Jesus) Diaz and Leticia (Juan) Diaz; numerous nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by his parents, Elias and Minerva (nee Garza) Zapata and sister, Jovita Zapata.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, October 5, 2018 at 11:00 am at St. Mary Church, corner of Indianapolis Blvd. and 144th Street, East Chicago, IN with Rev.
