Juan R. Montantes

Juan R. Montantes, age 66, of East Chicago, Indiana, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2021.  Juan is survived by his wife of 42 years, Juanita (nee Solis) Montantes; 3 daughters: Jennie Bazile, Jackie Montantes and Julie Montantes; 8 grandchildren: Marcus, Jr., Jazmin, Ayana, Jayson, Dejuan, Christian, Tahira and Taheen; brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and in-laws.  Preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Nicomedes Montantes; brother, Jesse; sister, Irma.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, Indiana.  Father Ivan Carrillo will hold a prayer service at 4:30 pm.
